The NAACP contacted me the other day. They loved the column I wrote for Youth Vote '08 about black young evangelicals expanding the definition of morality to encompass more than two single issues (abortion and gay marriage). The editor wanted to let me know they are interested in posting the column on their new blog-a-zine The Defenders Online. She also asked if I would like to become a contributor!
Would I?
I readily agreed.
The editor-in-chief is Lee Daniels. I practically ate his book "Last Chance" in two weeks this past summer. That book was soooo good and I am elated to potentially write for him.
This is an excellent opportunity and I am excited about the potential it has to help me towards my goal.
